My musical career started in garages in California in the good ole U.S. of A, then jazz bands and choirs throughout Washington and also blues and R&B bands in Arizona. I played in an 8-piece soul/funk band called Wonderstruck before moving to Auckland in 2008 and then found SugarBang a year and a half later. Of note I toured the Northwest and backed Michael Bruce, Alice Cooper’s lead guitarist, on a few gigs, always having fun along the way, and I am never without my trademark cheeky smile!

I live in Christchurch now and am looking to start an originals band, possibly a drums/bass duo like Royal Blood that plays music inspired by them as well as Them Crooked Vultures and Morphine.

When cornered about my favourite styles I always say Funk, but I love Progressive Rock/Metal too, and play any style of music; but always with a funky, groovy feel.
